CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO OUR NEW SENIOR ADVOCATES OF NIGERIA

The Ijaw National Congress (INC) extends its warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to our distinguished sons, Fedude Zimughan and Preye Agedah, on their well-deserved elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
This is not merely a personal achievement but a historic and proud moment for the entire Ijaw Nation . For the first time since the creation of Bayelsa State 29 years ago, two of its indigenes have been simultaneously conferred with this highest of legal honours . This dual conferment has rolled away a long-standing reproach and signals a new, illustrious chapter for the Ijaw legal community .
The INC is immensely proud of your years of dedication, excellence, and unwavering commitment to the legal profession, which have rightfully earned you this recognition . We are further elated that Preye Agedah has also been appointed a Life Bencher, the first from Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area to attain such a feat . Your achievements bring the total number of SANs from Bayelsa State to 11, demonstrating the steady progress of our people .
As you don the silk robe, the INC charges you to always uphold the timeless tenets of our people. Remember that the very meaning of Ijaw is truth . Carry this value of truth, along with integrity and justice, into your service to the nation. You are now beacons of hope and role models for thousands of young Ijaw professionals.
We urge you to make deliberate efforts to mentor the upcoming generation of Ijaw lawyers and ensure our nation is continually and adequately represented at the highest levels of the profession .
